In the face of constant uncertainties, we should question the tradition of endless forecasts and focus on what truly matters: a strong corporate culture. ‘Strength lies in unity’ – it is togetherness that carries us through unpredictable times.
In the business world, we are often focused on making precise forecasts and analyzing every detail. Yet in times when uncertainty is the norm, these predictions lose their significance. Instead of getting lost in false precision, we should invest our energy in building a resilient team culture. Uncertainty then becomes not a disruptive factor, but a catalyst for growth and innovation.
Historically, a strong corporate culture has always made the difference. Companies and teams that focus on a strong sense of “WE” have weathered crises better and emerged stronger. It is the values and trust within the team that provide stability in turbulent times.
True security in an uncertain world lies in a company’s culture. Less analysis and more focus on the “WE” creates antifragility, allowing us not only to survive but to thrive.
I am convinced that it is time to reorder our priorities. Let’s spend less energy on endless forecasts and more on creating a culture that makes us strong.
What are your experiences in this context? Do you also feel that we plan too much and pay too little attention to company culture and togetherness?
Warm regards,
Wolfi
